Glass, Montague
(1877-1934)
Montague Marsden Glass was born in Manchester, England, and was brought to America as a child. He published humorous magazine stories about New York City's garment district, and these became the basis for plays he wrote in collaboration with other dramatists: Potash and Perlmutter (1913) with Charles Klein, Business before Pleasure (1917) and several others in the 1920s with Jules Eckert Goodman.
